The Dünen-Therme
The district St. Peter-Bad is the centre of St. Peter-Ording. Here you will find not only our hotel, where you can comfortably spend the night during your North Sea-holiday, but also the pier, the experience promenade and the Dünen-Therme (an indoor adventure pool and spa area at the dunes of the North Sea).
In bad weather or if you want to have fun in the water park just like that, you should visit the Dünen-Therme. Here you can swim in the water of the North Sea and combine a stay in the spa area.
Let’s go slide …
For those of you who like action, the Dünen-Therme has a lot to offer. Therefore, you need to check out the three giant flumes. The Turbo Waterslide is actually quite tough. Your rapid waterslide ride starts with a free fall and ends gently in the basin. The White-water Slide passes through the outdoor dune landscape and offers you speed and many curves on 120 metres. If you like it more comfortable but definitely not unspectacular, then grab yourself a tire and thus slide through the 95-metres-long tire slide. One or two riders at a time, fun is guaranteed!
In addition, you can experience very close the surging billows throughout the year in the Dünen-Therme in St. Peter-Ording. In the 28°C warm North Sea water, you can plunge into the waves every half hour. However, you can also swim into the 30°C warm outdoor pool and enjoy the stunning sea view directly in the fresh North Sea air.
A holiday in St. Peter-Ording…
…always goes hand in hand with rest and relaxation. Therefore, a visit to the large sauna area and the adjoining spa area in the Dünen-Therme is just right for you.
You can choose your favorite sauna from the five nature-oriented sauna types or enjoy all of them one after the other. In the moderately tempered pile building sauna, you have a wonderful view over the dune landscape, the salt marshes and the sunset on the horizon of the North Sea through the large panoramic window. Colored play of light, noble scents and calm music ensure gentle relaxation and complete relaxation in the sauna.
In the steam bath, you can sweat very gently at 45-48°C, whereas you already start to sweat in the hexagonal log cabin sauna at up to 110°C with hourly-varied sauna infusions. For beginners and sauna lovers, the birch sauna is particularly well suited. In a kettle above the heater birch twigs are heated, which exude a soothing and spicy aroma. Here you can relax particularly well.
Following your respective sauna session, you can unwind in the relaxing area. These oases of tranquillity are modern in style and spacious where you will not miss the view of the dunes and the North Sea.
